Amanda Holden
Amanda Holden is a money writer, speaker, and educator. She left her job in investment management in San Francisco to get critically-needed financial education to the demographic she cares most about: Young women. (And anyone who has felt left out of these important conversations, because they are so often reserved for the already-wealthy.)
Through her business, Invested Development, she educates young women about investing and other money topic—because the world needs more women with financial power. She also writes a blog called The Dumpster Dog Blog, which is scrappy, no-BS finance education for young women. Her blog has been nominated for Money Blog of the Year and Women’s Money Blog of the Year for two years running, and won a Plutus Award for Best Social Media for the free investment education (and general tomfoolery) she provides on Instagram.
