Sharita M. Humphrey is a nationally recognized and award-winning certified financial education instructor and business mentor. Sharita has been recognized with two Texas Proclamations for her work spreading financial and business literacy education to underserved communities and businesses in an effort to boost their economic well-being. She received the 2020 award for National Financial Educator of the Year for her efforts across the country
Beginning in 2021, Sharita worked with the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Namibia to spread financial education around the world.
Sharita has continued her work with local and state governments, non-profits, financial institutions, and schools by delivering presentations, leading workshops, and creating training materials to improve the public’s understanding of money and business.
Grant Watkins is a native Houstonian serving as Founder and CEO of Earn Your Freedom, a company gamifying financial literacy education. In 2019, Grant was living paycheck to paycheck, struggling to make ends meet, when he realized just how uneducated he was about financial literacy.
Grant spent countless hours studying experts like Dave Ramsey, Robert Kiyosaki, and Ramit Sethi, all the while practicing his languages on Duolingo, which ultimately inspired the creation of EYF. With a background in sales and international business, Grant has experience selling everything from cars, international manufacturing contracts in China, real estate, and more. Grant is multilingual and taught himself the coding languages needed to build EYF: Money Quest.
Keely McEnery, an award-winning graduate of the nation’s #1 entrepreneurship program, is the Co-Founder and COO of Earn Your Freedom, a company gamifying financial literacy education. After her mom’s passing at 17, she was abruptly thrown into the world of finance, making costly mistakes in investing, real estate, and more.
Keely quickly grew a passion for financial education and aims to teach others so they don’t have to make the same mistakes she did, seeing just how impactful financial health is on everyday life. Keely has previously run two small businesses and brings expertise in working with NPOs, operations, business development, and asset management.
